Whether veterans are seeking service-connected disability ratings, access to healthcare, education and training, employment, or other supports, Vet to Vet is here to help.
Our team understands the unique challenges veterans face because we have lived them too. We are here to help veterans find hope, healing, and the resources they need.
Christian Coomer, Executive Director
Christian Coomer leads our team of volunteers. With more than 25 years of professional experience in military, legal, political, judicial, and nonprofit roles, he dedicates himself to finding solutions that help veterans achieve their goals.
His motivation to serve veterans comes from his family: his father is a U.S. Marine, his brothers are Army combat veterans, his older son is an active duty Air Force officer, and his younger son is a U.S. Marine who will commission upon graduation from UGA.
Christian and his wife Heidi have spent their lives in service to others, and they continue that life pursuit with Vet to Vet of Georgia.

One-on-One Assistance
We help veterans and families access benefits and find medical, legal, and community assistance.
Group Support
We offer weekly group sessions, anger management training, and support opportunities for veterans and families.
Veterans Walking Beside You
Nearly all of our volunteers are veterans themselves, committed to walking beside you every step of the way.
Guidance, Empathy, and Real Support
As our name implies, our team is made up of veterans, veteran families, and caring volunteers who have faced many of the same challenges as those we serve.
We are here to offer guidance, empathy, and real-world support because no one should walk this road alone.
